This DIY is perfect for people with their head in the clouds! If you often lose your belongings around, never find your sunnies or glasses… hang them on the wall!
MATERIALS
leather stud closure
TOOLS
leather punch cutter pen ruler your favorite glasses!
Download the free pattern, print it and use it as guide to make your own leather glass holder! This pattern is designed to hold two glasses, but you can adjust it to your needs and make it longer to hold several pairs.
Let’s get started
STEP 1
Take the leather and draw a rectangle on it (must be wider than your glasses). If you have printed our pattern you can simply trace around that. Once you have drawn it, cut it out carefully.

STEP 2
It’s time to make the tabs that will hold the glasses. Following the pattern, position the cutter in the center of the rectangle and cut out two small rectangles (or more if you are making this longer), aligned vertically.

STEP 3
Make a hole with the leather punch on each tab. Make sure you are keeping a minimum distance from the bottom base of the tabs.

STEP 4
Fold the tabs to join the leather rectangle. Mark with a pen inside the hole you just made on the tabs. Now use the leather punch to make holes on the base.

STEP 5
Take the pin closure and screw it into the hole made in step 4. You are creating the buckle with the button that will hold your glasses in place.

STEP 6
The last step consists in creating a last hole with the leather punch at the top of our glass holder for hanging it wherever you like!

TA-DAAN, IT’S DONE!
