Let’s talk fashion and sustainability.
We have bad news and good news

Bad news: donating your unwanted clothes is not enough.
Sadly, only 1% of donated clothing is actually resold in the UK and the majority ends up being landfilled or incinerated.

Good news: you can decide to repair, love and keep for longer.
Extending the life of a garment by even just 9 months of active use and wear reduces the carbon, water and waste footprint by 20-30%

Actually, we also have great news: we have found out about a very cool project called “Reincarnation Studio”, a platform that makes sure clothes are recycled, upcycled and used to its full fashion potential.

“Recycling your fashion is crucial if you wanna fight climate change.”

18 million tons of clothing have been landfilled in 2020 alone, reports Maria Moiseeva, fashion designer and founder of Reincarnation Studio. Maria worked in the fashion industry for some years and saw as an insider how unsustainable the pace and output of the fashion industry is.
She’s now on a journey to change that and we can all help by upcycling or donating our unwanted clothing to the project.
