ABOUT THE ARTISAN
Lise Lefebvre

Lise Lefebvre

Lise is a multi-passionate product and textile designer, “with a big scoop of fun and a pinch of irreverence” as she likes to define herself.

She is fascinated by very different techniques and she loves to spend her days happily experimenting in her sunny studio in Amsterdam.

In 2017 she decided to launch the Botanopia brand from a product she had designed: the Germination plate. It is a perforated ceramic accessory that allows you to easily grow small trees and plants in your favourite glass or vase. In fact, once placed over the opening of the vase, the central hole allows the seeds or cuttings to hover just above the water level, so they can grow roots without rotting.

“We celebrate the beauty of nature and the magical force that transforms small seeds into giant trees”

Lise Lefebvre – Botanopia’s founder

Henceforth it undertakes to design and produce innovative and stylish solutions for plant lovers, besides all the tools and supplies needed to take care of them: the best organic plant food, safe for plant cuttings, potting tarps for easy cleanup, and clever hanging systems to create lush plant walls.
